3 things to know about Linda Chen, incoming president of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma, Wash., part of MultiCare Health System, has named Linda Chen its new president, according to a Business Examiner report.

Ms. Chen, who currently serves as chief network and market officer at Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando, will begin the job effective June 15, according to the report.

Here are three things to know about Ms. Chen.

1. Ms. Chen has worked at Florida Hospital for Children since 2010.

2. Prior to Florida Hospital for Children, Ms. Chen worked in the sports and entertainment industry, according to the report. She also worked for The Walt Disney Company from 2000 to 2005 in the Alliance Development business segment.

3. Ms. Chen earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology/psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in business administration from Stetson University in Florida.
