1. MedCentral-Shelby (Ohio) Hospital appointed Theresa Roth, RN, as vice president and COO.

2. Hebron, Neb.-based Thayer County Health Services named Michael Burcham CEO.

3. Baptist Health Paducah (Ky.) announced the appointment of William A. Brown as president as well as west regional executive of Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health.

4. Corona (Calif.) Regional Medical Center CEO Kevan Metcalfe resigned.

5. Owensboro (Ky.) Health named Philip A. Patterson president and CEO, effective Nov. 1.

6. Richmond-based HCA Virginia Health System announced Zach McCluskey will serve as COO of Retreat Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond.

7. Mike Bunch, executive vice president, COO and CFO of KershawHealth in Camden, S.C., declined an offer to serve as CEO of the health system.

8. Richmond-based HCA Virginia Health System named William Wagnon III CEO of three of its hospitals — Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, Parham Doctors’ Hospital and Retreat Doctors’ Hospital, all located in Richmond.

9. St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, N.Y., announced the appointment of Meredith Price as CFO.

10. Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, N.M., announced its CEO Paul Herzog will retire Oct. 31.

11. Medina (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital COO Brian Banas left his post.

12. John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell, Va., named Suzanne Jackson CEO.

13. Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Fla., announced the appointment of Rich Mutarelli as interim president and CEO.

14. Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley, Wash., named Tim Moran CEO.

15. Wrangell (Alaska) Medical Center appointed Dana Strong as interim CFO.

16. Yuma (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center named David Willie CFO.
