Mr. Otero previously served as senior consultant for patient centered Lean services at Derby, Conn.-based Planetree, an organization that partners with various healthcare providers to enhance patient experience.
Mr. Rudd previously served as director of operations at the hospital.
Gila Regional’s executive team has seen dramatic changes in the last few months. The former CEO, CFO, CIO and CNO all resigned after coming under fire for refusing to take a pay cut in the wake of the hospital’s recent financial crisis. The crisis also led to the decision to downgrade 70 full-time positions to part-time roles in May. The senior leaders did not offer to take pay cuts but volunteered to take one day off a month.
