1. Tim Johnson, MD, regional vice president of the organization is will depart in September.
2. Dr. Johnson, who continues to see patients while serving as regional VP, will return to solely providing patient care, according to a Post Bulletin report.
3. He held the executive position for nearly eight years, and among his many accomplishments, is the organization’s transition to the Epic EMR system.
4. Joe Kruse, vice chair of administration at Mayo Clinic Health System-Franciscan Healthcare, plans to retire by the end of the year.
5. Mr. Kruse has worked at the organization for 34 year, spending the last five serving in his current role, according to the Post Bulletin.
6. The transitions will be coordinated concurrently to ensure a smooth succession. First, Mr. Kruse will help identify a replacement for Dr. Johnson. The new regional vice president will then search for Mr. Kruse’s replacement, according to the report.
