Tanner operates three acute-care facilities, including one critical access hospital, for a combined 267 beds across the region. The system is also host to Tanner Medical Group, comprised of 25 physician practices spanning across Georgia and into Alabama.
Prior to Tanner, Mr. Sherseth, a CPA, served as CFO of 25-bed Saint Joseph Berea (Ky.) Hospital, 420-bed Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan and 115-bed Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup, Ga. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Eastern Kentucky University.
