CFO Clint Adams: Working up the Ladder at Ardent Health Services

Clint Adams has more than 20 years of healthcare financial experience, and he currently leads the financial direction of Ardent Health Services, a for-profit health system based in Nashville, Tenn.

ClintAdamsMr. Adams joined Ardent in 2003 and was promoted to chief accounting officer in 2006. In 2011, Mr. Adams became Ardent's CFO and now oversees all financial aspects of the 13-hospital system. Currently, Ardent owns Lovelace Health System, a six-hospital system in Albuquerque, N.M., and Hillcrest HealthCare System, a seven-hospital organization in Tulsa, Okla.

Prior to his stint at Ardent, Mr. Adams was a senior audit manager at Ernst & Young focusing on several publicly traded healthcare and technology companies. He also served as a staff accountant at Deloitte and was a controller at PathGroup, a pathology services provider based in Brentwood, Tenn.
