CEO Elizabeth B. Concordia: UCHealth's dedicated leader

Elizabeth B. Concordia has served as president and CEO of Aurora-based UCHealth since September 2014.

UCHealth is a 1,600-bed health system with seven hospitals in Colorado and more than 100 clinics in Colorado, southern Wyoming and western Nebraska. The health system employs 17,000 people and has a $3.2 billion operating revenue.

 

Prior to joining UCHealth, Ms. Concordia was executive vice president for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, as well as president of UPMC's hospital and community services division. She managed the strategic direction, clinical operations and financial success of the health system, while also leading patient care operations for 20 hospitals and 17 community facilities.

Ms. Concordia also previously served as executive vice president and COO for Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore and as an associate director at the Montefiore Medical Center's Jack D. Weiler Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.

She earned a bachelor's degree in economics and German from Duke University in Durham, N.C., and a Master of Administrative Science of Management from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
