University of Virginia renames telehealth center

The University Virginia Center for Telehealth in Charlottesville is being renamed for its founder and director, reports The Daily Progress.

The center will be named The Karen S. Rheuban Center for Telehealth, in honor of Karen Rheuban, MD, who helped found the center in 1994 and currently serves as its director.

Dr. Rheuban is a pediatric cardiologist.
