Cleveland Clinic, American Well, CVS partner on telehealth delivery

Through a new collaboration, telehealth platform provider American Well will connect Cleveland Clinic physicians to CVS MinuteClinic customers for virtual visits.

American Well already partners with CVS and Cleveland Clinic, though in separate capacities. Now, the three organizations are joining forces to provide telehealth services to customers in Ohio and West Virginia.

"CVS and Cleveland Clinic share our vision for a future healthcare system in which telehealth plays a critical role in connecting patients with trusted providers," said Ido Schoenberg, MD, chairman and CEO, of American Well. "This three-way partnership is significant in that, for the first time, Cleveland Clinic doctors will be available to MinuteClinic customers in Ohio via telehealth, creating a highly impactful combination of services that greatly enhance the patient experience. This is the future of telemedicine — or simply, medicine."
