The smartphone-based app offers indoor navigation and patient engagement features, such as physician directories, appointment scheduling, parking reminders and access to EMRs. The app will also provide navigation from patients’ homes to in more than 30 University of Miami Health satellite locations.
“Developing one mobile platform for the entire University of Miami Health System allows patients the convenience of navigating from their home to point of care and location-based services that complement their comprehensive care needs,” said Joshua Titus, CEO and founder of Gozio Health.
In July, Piedmont Healthcare also developed a wayfinding app, in collaboration with Gozio Health.
