The PiedmontNow app, available on all Android and iPhone mobile devices, can be downloaded for free. It gives patients and guests step-by-step directions to any destination within Piedmont’s hospitals and other facilities, such as urgent care locations or physician offices.
“With more than 75 percent of adults relying on smartphones for location-based information and directions, hospitals must have a mobile strategy that includes wayfinding to improve the overall patient experience,” said Joshua Titus, CEO and founder of Gozio Health.
Piedmont Healthcare includes seven hospitals, 19 urgent care centers and 94 physician practice locations.
