Denver-based UCHealth is creating an innovation center that will be housed in the Catalyst Health-Tech Innovation building in Denver.
The innovation center will include a "hospital room of the future" — a location where researchers can experiment with virtual health options. They can use the space to test equipment and devices as well as create a new type of clinical setting.
The Catalyst Health-Tech Innovation building will house 70 organizations, including UCHealth, working together to innovate in the healthcare arena.
"By working together with some of the brightest minds from other healthcare companies, we will accelerate innovation and develop novel ways of healing patients and keeping the public healthy," said UCHealth CIO Steve Hess.
