The Digital Quality of Life report, from online security provider Surfshark, assessed 65 nations’ internet speed and cost, personal data protection laws, e-government availability, entertainment content availability and cybersecurity protections. By this measure, the U.S. ranked eleventh, despite scoring in the top three in the individual rankings for e-government availability and cybersecurity.
In order, the countries ranked just ahead of the U.S. for overall digital quality of life are:
