Thomas Barnett. University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center. Mr. Barnett leads the IT department for University of Rochester Medical Center, overseeing its IT transformation in clinical services, revenue cycle, data warehousing and analytics, as well as hospital acquisitions and integrations. He is responsible for the hospital’s modernization and technology transformation efforts around population health and data analytics; he also collaborates with URMC’s research teams to move projects forward. Prior to joining URMC in 2016, Mr. Barnett served as vice president of application services at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, Ill., and vice president of IT at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, where he oversaw EHR implementation.
