The Sequoia Project, a nonprofit advocate for nationwide health data sharing, added six new members to its board of directors.
The new members are:
• Brian Ahier, digital health evangelist at Salt Lake City-based Medicity
• Elise Sweeney Anthony, director of policy at the ONC
• Peter DeVault, vice president at Verona, Wis.-based Epic
• David Horrocks, president at Columbia, Md.-based Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients
• Steve Posnack, director of standards and technology at ONC
• Ryan Stewart, director of health information exchange at San Francisco-based Dignity Health
The Sequoia Project supports multiple, independent health IT interoperability initiatives, including the eHealth Exchange, a health data sharing community of exchange partners sharing; and Carequality, a national-level, common interoperability framework to interconnect and enable exchange.
