Telemedicine provider SkyMD raises $800k from angel investors

SkyMD, based in New York, provides dermatology telemedicine services. The company has raised $800,000 from angel investors, according to a mobihealthnews report.

The angel investors include Blue Apron founder Matt Salzberg and Livestar founder Fritz Lanman, according to the report.

The company allows patients to connect with providers via smartphone, tablet and desktop computer.

SkyMD, founded in 2014, plans to add other specialties aside from dermatology.
