Telemedicine app CirrusMD sets $1.2M funding target

CirrusMD, a mobile messaging app connecting patients and emergency department physicians, has begun raising funds toward its goal of $1.2 million, according to a Business Den report.

CirrusMD is just $200,000 short of its goal.

Health systems and payers are able to purchase an app subscription based on a shared-risk, per-member or per-month plan, according to the report. Six insurers and health systems covering 250,000 lives currently use the app.
