The prescription drug treatment propranolol is the first product of hims’ new wellness category, which also launched within its women’s telemedicine brand hers. The prescription drug is a beta blocker that helps relieve symptoms of anxiety, such as sweating and nausea, and it can be digitally prescribed by one of more than 120 hims physician partners.
Hims’ new wellness category joins the telemedicine company’s existing hair, skin and sexual health categories. The company aims to streamline patients’ healthcare needs by connecting them with physicians on its online platform to receive diagnoses and treatments through virtual appointments.
