Rory comprises products menopausal women can order or be prescribed directly through the app to help with their conditions. The app offers prescription medication and supplements for hot flashes as well as a prescription vaginal estrogen cream and a water-based lubricant for vaginal dryness, among other products.

Before using its telehealth services, Rory requires women to complete a virtual visit with a Rory physician to receive a personalized treatment plan. Additionally, Rory is launching an online community and Facebook group called Roar, which aims to help menopausal women connect and share support with one another.

“We aren’t used to talking about issues like vaginal dryness,” Rory Co-founder Rachel Blank told TechCrunch. “Right now, we have [millions] of women experiencing menopause… Really, what we are building at Rory is a lot of the educational content around this to let women know they have choices and they can take control during this phase of life where they feel like their bodies are rebelling against them.”

Ro’s telehealth services for men can be accessed through the Roman app, which addresses conditions including erectile dysfunction, hair loss and enlarged prostate.
