Aramark on Jan. 8 announced a novel service in which they will provide communication technologies for hospitals that use Teladoc Health’s Solo platforms. These technologies enable dietitians, who are often in short supply, to extend the reach of their care to underserved areas.
The technology benefits dietitians as well because it allows them to perform their jobs from a home base while servicing patients in states where they are licensed. This also addresses the dietitian shortage many healthcare facilities face.
