Ballad Health shifts services at 2 Tennessee hospitals

Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health is changing what services it offers at two hospitals in Greene County, Tenn., according to NBC affiliate WCYB.

Greeneville-based Laughlin Memorial Hospital, renamed Greeneville Community Hospital East, will focus on providing acute inpatient services. Takoma Regional Hospital, also in Greeneville and renamed Greeneville Community Hospital West, will transition its services to advanced outpatient care.

Both hospitals will still provide emergency care, according to the report.
