Now, members of the joint venture health plan created by Aetna and Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health can request nonemergency rides through Sutter Health | Aetna’s care navigation service. Logisticare | Circulation has partnered with Lyft since 2017 to facilitate nonemergency transportation for healthcare organizations such as Humana and Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health.
The other services offered through Sutter Health | Aetna’s “anytime, anywhere access features,” which began rolling out on Jan. 1, include text-based virtual care visits through the 98point6 app, on-demand physician house calls via digital health startup Heal and care navigation concierge service from Docent Health, according to a March 9 news release.
