The survey assessed U.S., U.K. and Australian consumers’ perspective on security breaches. The percent of Britons and Australians concerned about moving to an EHR was similar to that of Americans, at 81 percent and 83 percent, respectively. Specific concerns about the EHR included identify theft, medical records exposed on the Internet, nosy healthcare workers and employers’ discovery of a personal medical condition.
