Sarah Bush Lincoln drops MEDITECH in favor of Cerner EHR: 3 things to know

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System, based in Mattoon, Ill., plans to go live on the Cerner EHR in the fall of this year, according to a Journal Gazette & Times-Courier report.

Here are three things to know.

1. Sarah Bush Lincoln will be replacing its current MEDITECH system with the Cerner EHR, according to the report.

2. The health system will implement Cerner Millennium, as well as Cerner’s revenue cycle management solutions, across its hospital, Regional Cancer Center, Center for Health Living and 30 clinics.

3. Sarah Bush Lincoln will also implement Cerner’s population health management platform, HealtheIntent.
