11 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were announced in the past week.

1. Over the next five years, South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta plans to invest $50 million in a new Epic EHR

2. West Orange, N.J.-based Barnabas Health selected Orion Health's Rhapsody Integration Engine to boost interoperability efforts.

3. East Texas Medical center in Tyler selected Orion Health's Rhapsody Integration Engine to boost interoperability efforts.

4. Stanford (Calif.) Children's Health selected Orion Health's Rhapsody Integration Engine to boost interoperability efforts.

5. Bendigo Health, a system based in Bendigo, Australia, selected InterSystems' TrakCare EMR and clinical information system.

6. Two hospitals have renewed their IT service contracts with McKesson: Chicago-based Saint Anthony Hospital and Cookeville (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center.

7. Winchester, Mass.-based Health Partners New England selected Medsphere Systems' OpenVista EHR for a new behavioral health center in Devens, Mass.

8. Mission (Texas) Regional Medical Center implemented OZ STAR, a newborn screening health IT platform.

9. Lancaster (Pa.) General Health/Penn Medicine implemented MRO's Release of Information services and MROeLink technology to enhance ROI workflows and mitigate the risk of data breaches.

10. Kindred Healthcare chose Inovalon to provide data-driven insights and analytics.

11. Bloomington, Minn.-based HealthPartners chose Premier to provide supply chain analytics and services.
