The guarantee is backed by an offer to pay practices up to $5,000 to defray the cost of a new EHR system if Practice Fusion’s certification timeline is not met.

“Meaningful use has to be drama-free for doctors,” said Ryan Howard, founder and CEO of Practice Fusion, in the news release. “Being a cloud service means that our meaningful use upgrade process is free from the chaos that so many medical practices are currently facing. The response we’ve seen from the medical community this fall has been overwhelming. Practice Fusion is the only vendor that can remove the cost and risks of meaningful use upgrades, allowing doctors to collect their stimulus checks without stress.”

According to the release, 400 practices sign up for Practice Fusion each week, and one in four new customers are switching to Practice Fusion from another EHR vendor.
