Peraton snags part of $1.7B NIH IT contract

Peraton, a software and IT company, has been awarded a part of a $1.7 billion contract to perform IT services for the National Cancer Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology, the cancer research and treatment arm of the National Institutes of Health.

Under the terms of the five-year agreement, Peraton will provide the NIH with DevSecOps, cloud solutions, service desk support, cybersecurity, engineering and data management capabilities, according to a Dec. 28 Peraton news release.
