Two pilots, the Query Health initiative and Data Segmentation initiative, will begin this fall. The Query Health initiative is designed to define and deliver the standards and services for distributed population health queries from electronic health records. The Data Segmentation initiative aims to address privacy issues noted in the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology report in Dec. 2001.
