The Move Health Data Forward Challenge encourages organizations to create privacy and security metrics that allow individuals to control authorization access to their health information.
In Phase 1 of the challenge, participants had to submit plans for how they would create a solution to help with the flow of health information. Ten winners of Phase 1 were selected in November and received $5,000.
In Phase 2, organizations had to demonstrate a solution for how health records can be safely and securely exchanged. The following five Phase 2 winners will each receive a $20,000 award:
- CedarBridge Group
- EMR Direct
- Foxhall Wythe
- Live and Leave Well
- Lush Group
The Phase 2 winners will move on to Phase 3, which requires participants to implement their solution by creating a mobile or web-based product. Two Phase 3 winners will be selected and will receive $50,000.
