Nuance, Talix partner for new AI-powered quality & risk adjustment solution

Nuance Communications and Talix entered into an agreement for a new artificial intelligence-powered solution to enhance quality and risk adjustment.

The new Nuance Quality and Risk Adjustment solution combines Talix's risk adjustment coding technology with Nuance's AI-powered computer-assisted physician documentation solutions.

The solution analyzes structured and unstructured health information and offers in-workflow intelligence that can help providers identify opportunities to close care gaps. The solution aims to increase coding accuracy and efficiency as well as improve productivity and risk scores. It also features automated chart review and analytics.

"This solution builds on Nuance's decades of clinical expertise, technology innovation and experience with EHR workflows that are designed to optimize provider engagement, productivity and satisfaction," said Michael Clark, senior vice president of clinical documentation solutions at Nuance.
