The ONC is also scheduled to honor Rhode Island’s REC for its partnership with CurrentCare, the state’s health information exchange.
The ONC also gave an update on national HIE governance efforts during a webinar hosted in conjunction with the National eHealth Collaborative. ONC discussed the creation of a National HIE Governance Forum to identify and address issues surrounding HIEs, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and share best practices.
