New Tool Allows Providers to Demonstrate MU’s Transitions of Care Requirement Online

A new web-based tool from ONC and CMS allows providers to demonstrate their ability to electronically transfer a clinical document to an electronic health record system from another vendor, a requirement of meaningful use stage 2.

The EHR Randomizer allows providers to send a mock-up of a consolidated clinical document architecture over the Internet to a randomly selected test EHR to prove the ability to meet the third part of stage 2’s transition of care requirement.
