Montana DPHHS Computer Hacked, Patient Information Compromised

Computer hackers have “gained entry” to a Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services server, potentially compromising patient data.

The potentially compromised information may include names, addresses, Social Security numbers and clinical information of patients and payroll information of Montana DPHHS employees, according to a news release.

Montana HHS officials said they do not know if the information was improperly used or was even accessed.
