Ms. Council is a former CIO for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She was confirmed as VA CIO in July 2015, and stepped down from the role during the recent administration change, according to FedScoop.
Prior to joining the VA, Ms. Council served as CEO of Council Advisory Services and as chairwoman of the March of Dimes’ national board of trustees.
Her new positions at Mitre Corp. are effective April 3.
