Here are four things to know about the IT vendor’s results.
1. Meditech’s combined product and service revenue fell 2.8 percent between 2015 and 2016. In 2015, the company’s revenue was $475.5 million. Last year, the company reported revenue of $462.3 million.
2. Operating income increased 3.7 percent. Meditech’s 2015 operating income was $67.1 million, compared to its 2016 operating income of $69.6 million.
3. The company’s net income increased 4 percent between 2015 and 2016. Meditech’s 2015 net income was $70.1 million and its 2016 net income was $72.9 million.
4. By the end of 2016, Meditech had 3,700 staff members. The company also reported 2,400 active healthcare sites in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom.
