MDLive appoints Rich Berner CEO

MDLive, a telemedicine services provider, selected Rich Berner to serve as CEO.

Mr. Berner most recently led worldwide solution strategy for Allscripts’ health systems and population health business. He has served in a number of leadership roles at Allscripts, including president, international and acute and senior vice president, health systems and hospitals.

Previously, Mr. Berner served as senior vice president at Caradigm, a Microsoft/GE joint venture, and worked at Cerner, where he held a number of positions, including as leader of Cerner’s Middle East and Africa operations.

Established in 2009, MDLive today serves 25 million healthcare stakeholders.
