The closing warehouse is expected to cost approximately 70 jobs, according to the report.
Additionally, McKesson will also be closing similar centers in Little Canada, Minn., in June 2016 and Omaha in December 2016, according to the report.
Operations are expected to be consolidated into the recently announced, $65 million Clear Lake, Iowa, warehouse and distribution center.
“This was a difficult decision, as we understand that [it] will have significant impacts on our employees in the three closing distribution centers,” said Kristin Hunter, McKesson’s senior corporate media relations manager, in the report.
The new facility in Clear Lake is expected to provide more than 160 full-time jobs, according to the report.
