McKesson’s AccessHealth is a pharmacy-focused managed care solution. It’s new Medicare Part D support program intends to assist independent pharmacies in understanding the 2016 Medicare Part D plans to help improve patient health outcomes and optimize reimbursement.
The resources include a reimbursement and performance guide to help identify Medicare plans in their area, identify which plans have a large number of patients to help prioritize patient mix and determine clinical and operational criteria for the most significant plans.
Additionally, AccessHealth will host a series of webinars to help prepare for the new reimbursement rates and identify opportunities to succeed in transitioning to the pay-for-performance incentives.
