Five things to know:
1. Ms. Flores currently serves as CIO at Johnson Controls, where she oversees global business services such as cybersecurity and analytics.
2. As CIO, Ms. Flores will head up McKesson’s business technology strategy, technology governance, IT security and risk management, and infrastructure operations.
3. Ms. Flores will also oversee the direction of McKesson’s healthcare technology products and provide support for application development processes.
4. Ms. Flores will succeed Kathy McElligott, who announced in April that she would retire from McKesson.
5. Before joining Johnson Controls, Ms. Flores spent 22 years at Abbott Laboratories, most recently serving as vice president of business and technology services.
