Mass General unveils interactive visitor map

Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital now offers visitors an interactive map and virtual tour platform.

The new services were built using concept3D’s atlas3D technology. Developers used this technology to build a virtual rendition of Mass General’s campus on top of existing Google Maps information using detailed 3-D models.

The interactive map and tour platform include walking and wheelchair accessible directions to various buildings, alongside information about nearby restaurants and hotels. Users can request personalized links for directions to specific locations.
