New York City-based Logicalis Healthcare Solutions has launched its Epic service desk, which gives healthcare professionals access to a group of Epic IT specialists.
By using the service desk, clinicians will have more time to focus on patient care and spend less energy sorting through EHR-related questions on their own.
"Through Logicalis' new service desk for Epic, we want to empower our healthcare customers to make the best and highest use of their Epic resources," said Ed Simcox, Logicalis' practice leader. "By forwarding questions about password resets, recording or locating orders and other day-to-day tier-one issues to Logicalis, hospitals' internal Epic resources will be able tofocus their time and attention on optimization of their Epic environments."
