Lincoln Memorial Hospital recognized for advanced technology usage

Lincoln (Ill.) Memorial Hospital gained recognition from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives for its use of advanced technology in its clinical and business programs, according to The Courier.

CHIME conducts surveys to examine how each participating organization is using technology, then awards its Digital Health Most Wired recognition to healthcare organizations that demonstrate effective use of technology in clinical and nonclinical areas. 

Lincoln Memorial Hospital earned a level 7 certificate out of 10 levels. 

One of the hospital’s biggest tech-related projects integrated various information systems at the hospital into one, significantly increasing safety and effectiveness in patient care, reported The Courier

Another project connects patient monitors with the hospital’s EHR, which allows physicians to record documentation faster.
