The ROI calculator is designed for hospital CIOs and CTOs. The tool allows users to gauge savings after switching to the company’s Boomerang offering.

“Our nation’s hospitals pay an average of $300,000 a year on traditional healthcare interoperability environments,” said Brian Goad, vice president of engineering services at HealthSlide, Inc. “We have cut that cost by nearly 80 percent with Boomerang. This results in a dramatically increased return on investment for hospitals and physician practices.”

The calculator takes into account software costs, hardware costs, hardware fees, operating system support fees, consultant fees, training costs and staff salaries to offer insight into initial and ongoing savings.
