Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals in South Charleston, W.Va., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Pediatric Subspecialty & Telemedicine Clinic Dec. 5.
The clinic expands access to advanced pediatric care for families in southern West Virginia and offers subspecialty services in gastroenterology, genetics, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, pulmonary and urology, according to a Dec. 4 news release.
The site also supports WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals’ broader pediatric network, which includes general pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, pediatric orthopedics and pediatric endocrinology services. Patients are seen in person by Kacie Owens, NP, while subspecialists based in Morgantown join appointments virtually.
