The partnership will initially focus on addressing physician burnout: By December, 50 of LVHN’s more than 1,500 providers will begin using IKS’ Scribble virtual scribe technology to decrease time spent on documentation and simultaneously increase and improve interactions with patients. According to IKS, use of the Scribble tool can save physicians up to two hours of documentation time per day.
In addition to implementing IKS’ existing solutions, the two organizations will work together to develop new ones to tackle not only provider burden, but also patient engagement, care coordination, shrinking margins and more challenges in healthcare delivery.
