BJC Health is the new name of the combined BJC HealthCare and Saint Luke’s Health System.
St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare and Kansas City, Mo.-based Saint Luke’s merged in 2024, creating a 24-hospital, $10.7 billion organization known as BJC Health System. The new name and logo, developed with the help of employees and patients, will roll out starting in early 2026. A new tagline reads: “Because every moment deserves exceptional care.”
“Exceptional care isn’t defined by a single moment or clinical experience alone, but by the compassion, consistency and teamwork our 48,000 caregivers bring to every interaction from check-in to end-of-life care and every point in between,” BJC Health President and CEO Nick Barto said in a Nov. 4 news release. “More than a logo or tagline, this connects our legacy to our shared future as one, united system.”
BJC Health, headquartered in St. Louis, will continue to operate as two regions: BJC HealthCare in the East and Saint Luke’s in the West. The system also has locations in Illinois and Kansas.
