Imprivata names new president and CEO

Lexington, Mass.-based Imprivata, a healthcare IT security company, appointed Gus Malezis president and CEO.

Mr. Malezis’ appointment went into effect Sept. 19. He replaces Omar Hussein.

Before joining Imprivata, Mr. Malezis served as president of Portland, Ore.-based Tripwire. He has also held IT positions at Santa Clara, Calif.-based McAfee, Marlborough, Mass.-based 3Com and New York City-based Merisel.
