US Department of Labor CIO to retire at the end of Sept.

U.S. Department of Labor CIO Dawn Leaf will retire at the end of this month, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Ms. Leaf began her tenure as CIO in 2014. She previously served as the DOL’s deputy CIO, a role she maintained since 2012. Ms. Leaf has also served as a senior advisor and executive program manager for cloud computing at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg, Md.

The Department of Labor’s deputy CIO, Gundeep Ahluwalia, will take on the CIO position after Sept. 30. Mr. Ahluwalia joined the DOL in August.
