How Flagler Health+ is creating a frictionless patient experience: 4 notes

Health systems must have the proper foundational technology to create a consistent, frictionless patient experience. 

During an April 14 webinar hosted by Becker's Hospital Review and sponsored by Healthfully, industry leaders discussed how St. Augustine, Fla.-based Flagler Health+ put a unified consumer health platform at the center of its innovation strategy to improve efficiency, patient experience, community outreach and marketing.

1. An outgrowth of Flagler Hospital, Flagler Health+ is a total care enterprise aimed at advancing the physical, social and economic health of local communities, Ms. Mangus began. Based on extensive consumer research presented during the session, Flagler Health+ decided it needed to provide a simplified digital experience that let consumers get the necessary care and support to achieve better health. The organization's enterprise strategy is to transform a typical four-day hospital stay into a 365-day-a-year relationship. To achieve this, Flagler Health+ had to remove friction in patient experience. 

2. Flagler Health+ knew they wanted to partner with a disruptive health tech company that demonstrated startup success and technology depth to transform consumer health services. Utilizing the Healthfully platform, the organization created Flagler Health+ Anywhere, a unified experience across all care settings for the caregiver, patient, and patient’s circle of care. It is deployed across the health system, partners and the community for many health, wellness and SDOH services. The success is apparent, with a patient app rating of 4.84 out of 5 and a 97.6 percent patient visit satisfaction, said Ms. Mangus. 

3. Healthfully provides enterprise organizations with a white-label, comprehensive technology platform to engage and empower consumers on health and wellness journeys. Consumers use one branded app, with their information captured once and shared across services for a seamless experience.
