Currently, virtualization software and dictation software with speech recognition are installed in less than 50 percent of U.S. hospitals. However, both of these applications have a compound annual growth rate of more than 20 percent, significantly higher than any other applications studied in the report.
The CAGRs, coupled with a relatively low market penetration, suggest these technologies will become increasingly attractive to vendors and will experience further market growth in 2014.
